HoneyPezil Ingredients: The Seven Lines Investigated
HoneyPezil ingredients are seven printed lines per capsule: niacin 7.5 mg NE, calcium 18 mg, L-arginine 200 mg, L-arginine AKG 200 mg, L-citrulline HCl 100 mg, L-citrulline malate 100 mg and beta alanine 40 mg. There is no proprietary blend. The five amino acid lines add up to 640 mg as printed.

The full list01
What are the HoneyPezil ingredients?
The label prints seven active lines per capsule, in this order: niacin, calcium, L-arginine, L-arginine AKG, L-citrulline HCl, L-citrulline malate and beta alanine. Every line has its own amount.
That is a plus. Many supplements hide amounts inside a "proprietary blend", and this label does not. The other ingredients are hypromellose (a vegetable capsule), vegetable stearate and silicon dioxide.
The vitamin and mineral lines come first. The five amino acid lines follow, and they carry no Daily Value ("DV not established").
Investigation02
What does each HoneyPezil ingredient do?
Each ingredient is a real nutrient with a known role, but no source ties any of them to memory at the label amount.
-
ArL-arginine (base)200 + 200 mgAr
L-arginine
Amino acid the body uses to make proteins and nitric oxide
No trial of plain arginine for memory in healthy adults was found. A small 2018 trial in older adults with heart risk found no help on a thinking test, and its authors called arginine worse for vessel and executive functionFull profile -
CiL-citrulline HCl100 + 100 mgCi
L-citrulline
Amino acid, hydrochloride form; the body turns citrulline into arginine
No memory trial of citrulline was found in the sources checked; exercise and blood flow results are mixedFull profile -
bABeta-alanine40 mgbA
Beta-alanine
Amino acid the body uses to make carnosine in muscle and brain
Gram doses can raise carnosine in the brain; a 2023 review calls the thinking-test evidence inconclusive. Sports benefits are for hard efforts of 1 to 4 minutes at gram dosesFull profile -
B3Niacin7.5 mg NEB3
Niacin
Vitamin B3. The label does not say which form it is (nicotinic acid or niacinamide)
Established nutrient. The one memory link found is observational: niacin from food went with slower decline in older adults. No trial of 7.5 mg for memory was foundFull profile -
CaCalcium (as calcium carbonate)18 mgCa
Calcium
Essential mineral; the label names the carbonate salt
Established nutrient; 18 mg is too small to count as a calcium source, and no source ties it to memoryFull profile
Gaps on the label03
What does the HoneyPezil ingredient list leave out?
Four things are not printed: the form of niacin, the arginine share of the AKG line, the citrulline share of the malate line, and the manufacturer's name.
Niacin comes as nicotinic acid, which can flush the skin at 30 to 50 mg or more, or as niacinamide, which does not (NIH ODS, Niacin).
AKG and malate are salts. A salt weighs more than the amino acid inside it. So the label allows at most 400 mg of arginine ingredients (200 base plus 200 AKG) and at most 200 mg of citrulline ingredients (100 HCl plus 100 malate). The true amounts are lower.
| Printed | Seven amounts, serving size 1 capsule, 30 servings |
|---|---|
| Not printed | Niacin form (nicotinic acid or niacinamide) |
| Not printed | Arginine in the AKG line; citrulline in the malate line |
| Not published | Lab report, certificate of analysis or third-party seal |

Amounts vs research04
How do the ingredient amounts compare with studies?
Every amino acid line sits far below the amounts used in the studies we found. Niacin is close to a daily need, and calcium is a trace.
The table sets each printed amount beside the studied amount, the gap and the evidence. Round gaps are stated as "at least". Details are on the label vs studies page (NIH ODS, Exercise and athletic performance supplements).
| Name on the label | Per capsule | Daily Value | Amount used in research | How the label compares | Evidence |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Niacin | 7.5 mg NE | 47% (printed) | Adult RDA for men 16 mg NE; upper limit from supplements 35 mg a day; flushing is described at 30 to 50 mg or more of nicotinic acid (NIH ODS, Niacin) (Morris 2004, Dietary niacin and cognitive decline) (Cochrane 2018, Vitamin and mineral supplements and thinking skills) | 7.5 mg is about 47% of the 16 mg RDA and about 21% of the 35 mg upper limit; it is at least 4 times below the flushing range, but the form is not printed | Established nutrient. The one memory link found is observational: niacin from food went with slower decline in older adults. No trial of 7.5 mg for memory was found |
| Calcium (as Calcium Carbonate) | 18 mg | 1.5% (printed) | Daily Value 1,300 mg; adult RDA for men 1,000 mg; upper limit 2,500 mg a day (NIH ODS, Calcium) | 18 mg is about 1.4% of the 1,300 mg Daily Value (the label prints 1.5%) and under 2% of the RDA: a trace amount | Established nutrient; 18 mg is too small to count as a calcium source, and no source ties it to memory |
| L-Arginine (base) | 200 mg | Not established | 1,500 mg a day of a different compound (arginine silicate) in a company-funded 2016 test of mental flexibility; 4 g a day or more in blood pressure trials; the NIH says up to 9 g a day appears safe for short periods (Mayo Clinic, L-arginine) (Kalman 2016, Arginine silicate and mental tests) (Beckman 2018, Arginine and executive function in older adults) (Shiraseb 2022, Arginine and blood pressure) (NIH ODS, Exercise and athletic performance supplements) | Base plus AKG add up to at most 400 mg of arginine ingredients: at least 3.75 times below 1,500 mg and 10 times below 4,000 mg | No trial of plain arginine for memory in healthy adults was found. A small 2018 trial in older adults with heart risk found no help on a thinking test, and its authors called arginine worse for vessel and executive function |
| L-Arginine AKG 2:1 Extract | 200 mg | Not established | 12,000 mg a day of an AAKG product for 7 days in an exercise blood flow trial (no change from placebo) (Willoughby 2011, AAKG 12 g a day and blood flow) (NIH ODS, Exercise and athletic performance supplements) | At least 60 times below 12,000 mg a day | No memory trial of AAKG was found; the one blood flow trial at a large dose found no change from placebo |
| L-Citrulline HCl | 100 mg | Not established | Up to 6,000 mg a day for 4 weeks in short safety studies (NIH); gram doses in exercise and blood pressure trials (Schwedhelm 2008, Citrulline vs arginine in the body) (Gonzalez and Trexler 2020, Citrulline review) (NIH ODS, Exercise and athletic performance supplements) | Together with the malate line, citrulline ingredients add up to at most 200 mg: at least 30 times below 6,000 mg | No memory trial of citrulline was found in the sources checked; exercise and blood flow results are mixed |
| L-Citrulline Malate | 100 mg | Not established | 8,000 mg of citrulline malate in one exercise study (NIH); up to 6,000 mg a day for 4 weeks in short safety studies (NIH ODS, Exercise and athletic performance supplements) (Gonzalez and Trexler 2020, Citrulline review) (Barkhidarian 2019, Citrulline and blood pressure) (Mirenayat 2018, Citrulline and blood pressure (no effect)) | At least 80 times below 8,000 mg | No memory trial of citrulline malate was found; exercise results are mixed |
| Beta Alanine | 40 mg | Not established | 4,000 to 6,000 mg a day for 2 to 4 weeks (sports position stand); tingling (paresthesia) can start around 800 mg in one dose (Trexler 2015, ISSN position stand: Beta-alanine) (Ostfeld and Hoffman 2023, Beta-alanine review) (Saunders 2017, Beta-alanine meta-analysis) (NIH ODS, Exercise and athletic performance supplements) | At least 100 times below 4,000 mg. 40 mg is 5% of the 800 mg amount where tingling can start | Gram doses can raise carnosine in the brain; a 2023 review calls the thinking-test evidence inconclusive. Sports benefits are for hard efforts of 1 to 4 minutes at gram doses |

See packsFair verdict05
Are HoneyPezil ingredients worth it?
That depends on what you expect. The ingredients are ordinary and the label is open about amounts, but the memory claim rests on no product study.
Fair strengths
- Every amount is printed
- One capsule a day, 30 days a bottle
- The only front claim carries an asterisk to the FDA statement
Weak spots
- No trial of the product
- Amino acids far below studied doses
- Niacin form and salt shares not printed
- No lab report published
NIA says no vitamin or supplement is currently recommended for preventing cognitive decline (NIA, Cognitive health and older adults).
Safety06
Are HoneyPezil ingredients safe with medicines?
Not always. Arginine can add to the blood pressure drop from nitrates and erection medicines, and it may affect blood sugar and blood thinners (Mayo Clinic, L-arginine).
Niacin can interact with the tuberculosis medicines isoniazid and pyrazinamide (NIH ODS, Niacin). Pregnant or nursing mothers, anyone under 18 and anyone with a known medical condition should consult a physician, as the label says. Keep taking prescribed medicine exactly as directed, and ask your prescriber or pharmacist before adding any supplement.
Chest pain or stroke signs need a 911 call (CDC, Stroke signs and symptoms). See side effects.
FAQ07
HoneyPezil questions people ask
What is in HoneyPezil capsules?
Each capsule has niacin 7.5 mg NE, calcium 18 mg, L-arginine 200 mg, L-arginine AKG 200 mg, L-citrulline HCl 100 mg, L-citrulline malate 100 mg and beta alanine 40 mg. The capsule is vegetable-based hypromellose.
Does HoneyPezil have a proprietary blend?
No. The label prints a separate amount for each of the seven lines, so there is no blend to decode. What it does not print is the niacin form and the arginine and citrulline shares of two salt lines.
Does HoneyPezil contain ginkgo, bacopa or DMAE?
Not on the bottle label printed here. The sales page FAQ names some other ingredients, and a second panel is reported at checkout. Compare your own bottle and call the order desk if it differs.
What are the other ingredients in HoneyPezil?
Hypromellose (vegetable capsule), vegetable stearate and silicon dioxide. They hold the powder and keep it flowing. No allergen statement appears on the label.
How much arginine is in HoneyPezil?
At most 400 mg of arginine ingredients per capsule: 200 mg L-arginine base plus 200 mg L-arginine AKG. The label does not print the arginine share of the AKG salt, so the true amount is lower.
