What a memory supplements review from Consumer Reports looks for
A memory supplements review by an independent group such as Consumer Reports looks at three things: outside testing, doses compared with studies, and the claims on the label. We found no Consumer Reports review of HoneyPezil, and no lab report or USP mark for it. Its label prints every amount, and each sits far below studied amounts.

Independent reviews01
Has Consumer Reports reviewed HoneyPezil?
We found no Consumer Reports review of HoneyPezil. The one Consumer Reports page we cite covers counterfeit products bought online, not memory supplements.
That page describes a GAO test in which 20 of 47 brand-name products from third-party online sellers were counterfeit (Consumer Reports, Counterfeits online). It is a reason to check where a bottle came from. It says nothing about whether any memory formula works.
So this post does not report what a named group concluded. It lists the checks an independent reviewer typically makes, then runs the HoneyPezil label through each one.
The checklist02
What does an independent memory supplement review check?
An independent review checks whether the contents match the label, whether a third party tested the product, whether the amounts match studies and whether the claims stay honest.
US rules ask makers to follow current good manufacturing practice (21 CFR Part 111 (eCFR)). A rule is not proof that a given bottle passed an inspection. USP verification is a voluntary program in which makers opt in to testing and audits, and the HoneyPezil label shows no USP mark (USP, Verification Program).
| Check | What a reviewer asks | HoneyPezil |
|---|---|---|
| Contents | Are all amounts printed? | Yes, seven lines, no proprietary blend |
| Testing | Is a lab report or USP mark published? | None found |
| Doses | Do amounts match studies? | Far below; no study of the label amounts |
| Claims | Does the label stay modest? | One asterisked line, with the FDA statement |
The lot references on the seller's materials, HP-26/IH-3001 and HP-3001-26-IH, are seller references, not lab proof.
Doses03
How do memory supplement doses compare with studies?
Memory supplement doses on a label usually need to be set next to the amounts researchers used. For HoneyPezil the gap is large on every amino acid line.
The ladder uses a log scale. Each bar shows the label amount against a reference marker taken from published studies (Trexler 2015, ISSN position stand: Beta-alanine). Those references come from exercise and safety work, not memory trials.
7 linesone capsule a day, 30 a bottle; every amount printed, no proprietary blend
- L-arginine: base + AKG (at most)400 mg · ref 1,500
- L-citrulline: HCl + malate (at most)200 mg · ref 6,000
- Beta-alanine40 mg · ref 4,000
- Niacin7.5 mg · ref 16
- Calcium18 mg · ref 1,300

Log scale: each step to the right is ten times more. A marker far to the right of the bar means the label holds much less than that reference. (Kalman 2016, Arginine silicate and mental tests) (NIH ODS, Exercise and athletic performance supplements) (Trexler 2015, ISSN position stand: Beta-alanine) (NIH ODS, Niacin) (NIH ODS, Calcium)
No study we found tested 200 mg of arginine, 100 mg of citrulline or 40 mg of beta alanine for memory. The dose gap page gives the arithmetic line by line.

How can you review a memory supplement yourself?
You can run the same checks at home: read the panel, compare amounts, look for a lab report and read the claim.
Look for the asterisk on the front and the FDA statement that follows. The Global Council on Brain Health could not endorse any brain-health supplement and urges skepticism about claims (Global Council on Brain Health, Brain health supplements). Ask a doctor or pharmacist before you buy if you take nitrates, an erection medicine or blood pressure medicine, and keep taking prescribed medicine as directed.
Memory trouble that lasts deserves a doctor first. See the testing and quality page for what this site could and could not verify.
FAQ05
HoneyPezil questions people ask
Does Consumer Reports recommend any memory supplement?
We did not find a Consumer Reports review of any memory supplement that we could cite. The one page we use covers counterfeits. NIA says no supplement is currently recommended for preventing cognitive decline.
Is HoneyPezil third-party tested?
No lab report or certificate is published for HoneyPezil that we could find, and the label shows no USP mark. The lot numbers on the seller's materials are references, not proof.
What does USP verified mean on a supplement?
USP verification is a voluntary program in which makers opt in to have finished products tested and audited against quality benchmarks. It checks quality, not whether the product helps memory.

Ready to try HoneyPezil?
Check your medicines first, especially nitrates, erection medicines and blood pressure medicine, then pick a pack. One bottle is 30 days at 1 capsule a day; 3 bottles cover 90 days and 6 cover 180. A supplement does not replace a doctor's visit for memory trouble that lasts.
